What to expect when you give us a call:
Initial Call
We will gather insurance information, personal information (name, address, email, etc), and we will review available times that are convenient for your first appointment.
What to do before your appointment
We will email or text you a link to our patient portal where you will be able to complete new patient forms, including HIPAA, Medical History, Financial Policy, Insurance Information, and Patient Registration info. Be sure to complete all forms and bring your insurance card with you to your first appointment.
First visit
Your first appointment will be with the doctor in order to complete a full mouth set of xrays, intraoral photos, oral cancer screening, and comprehensive examination. At this time, we can provide you with a comprehensive treatment plan (in phases if necessary), and schedule your hygiene appointment (unless scheduled for the same day).
Treatment Plan
Most treatment plans are provided at the completion of your first appointment. If there are multiple options for treatment, we are happy to discuss these with you at a separate visit to ensure we are reaching a common goal for your oral health.
Hygiene Appointment
The hygienist will review your medical history, provide oral hygiene instructions, complete a full mouth periodontal health evaluation, and determine your hygiene treatment needs, including interval for re-care appointments and any necessary periodontal therapy.
